A bicyclist was critically injured in a hit-and-run crash that happened near San Pedro and Corrida Road.
Albuquerque Police Department officials said the bicyclist was taken to a local hospital and is currently in critical condition, according to KRQE. This collision occurred on Tuesday, October 17.
It’s the second major bicycle hit-and-run in Albuquerque in just the last few days. On Sunday, there was a crash near Zuni and Kentucky Street SE. According to APD, a cyclist was crossing Zuni heading south when a gray Ford pickup traveling eastbound on Zuni crashed into him. The pickup then fled on Zuni, turning north on Louisiana.
The crash victim was taken to UNM Hospital and is also in critical condition. The truck was a Gray/Charcoal Ford F250, but wasn’t yet caught according to KOB4.
