The fire took place in the 3900 block of Liggett Drive. A power line was downed in the back of the residence as the fire spread to a large pine tree in front of the house.
Thankfully, no one was inside and no one was reported injured according to the San Diego Union Tribune. Firefighters were able to put out most of the fire by 6:01 am. Metro Arson Strike Team investigators were then sent to the location to determine the cause of the fire.
