On Saturday, September 13, 2025, just before 10 pm, a fatal multi-vehicle crash occurred on State Route 56 in Rancho Peñasquitos. According to the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office, the collision happened on eastbound SR-56 near Salmon River Road.
The victim, identified as 50-year-old Tomasz Bordyczewski of Poway, was driving a sedan when his vehicle collided with another sedan.
